By the time a real estate transaction is complete, you’ve had plenty of opportunities to see how your agent handles questions, decisions, surprises, and everything in between. That’s why, when a past client recommends me to someone they care about, I understand what that recommendation represents. It tells me they valued the guidance they received enough to want someone else to have that same kind of support.
I never assume that someone you recommend is ready to buy or sell. They may simply have a question. They may be trying to understand their options. Or they may know a change is coming but aren’t sure yet what their next step should be.
Whatever brings them to me, I’ll meet them where they are. I’ll listen, answer their questions, help them understand the choices in front of them, and give them room to decide what makes sense for their situation. If they’re not ready to do anything yet, that’s perfectly fine too.
